DESIGN EXPERIENCE
July 2013 – July 2020
Art Director and Graphic Designer at
New Hampshire Magazine, Manchester, NH
As Art Director of New Hampshire Magazine, I successfully implemented a complete redesign of the magazine. I also worked with the editor, over the course seven years, to assemble and organize a roster of skilled photographers and artists to consistently contribute to the magazine.

Adjacent to art direction, I was also responsible for laying out each monthly issue. This included maintaining all typographic styles and standards within each section of the magazine, along with the design and layout of each cover and three feature stories a month. At the end of each month I would make press checks at our printer to check and color correct any print and production issues.

1998 – July 2020
Freelance Graphic and Production
Designer for various clients
Since 1998 I have been fortunate to work on a variety of freelance design projects, including a book for Child and Family Services, marketing tools for small start ups, various publications, pamphlets, posters and logos.

My first job in New York was as a draftsman for the late artist Sol Lewitt, installing and drafting his wall drawings in Madrid, Sydney, Netherlands and museums across the USA. Over time, I moved from Draftsman to Master Draftsman, where I was leading teams of other creative folks.

Additionally, I spent a summer working with Jenny Holzer on her Redacted paintings for an exhibition at Cheim & Read gallery.
